Random!

Spotted in a toilet cubicle located near Coca at 1-U:

TNS = Tiew Nia Seng = The Natural Source

For the uninitiated, tiew nia seng basically means fuck you. I'd like to think that it means double fuck you or extreme fuck you though. LOL!

Mebbe I should change my blog's name to The Natural Source.

HEH!

The Bachelor Cooks: Part One

Right so my parents were away for the weekend and instead of eating out as I usually do I decided to just cook myself a simple dinner.

I call this this Pork Mash Up.

Ingredients:

2 smoked pork sausages
3 slices of bacon
3 eggs

How to cook:

1. Crack eggs in bowl and whisk around until it's all even.
2. Pour around three tablespoons of cooking oil into wok.
3. Wait until oil is hot enough (you will see bubbles rising from the oil if you stick a chopstick in it) and dump bacon in (one at a time is preferable).
4. Fry bacon to desired level of crispiness (or let them burn if you like it that way).
5. Dump sausages into oil after removing bacon. Just give them a couple of flips and they'll be done (already smoked anyway).
6. Lastly use remaining oil to fry up a batch of scrambled eggs. Just dump egg mixture into wok and stir vigourously!

The result:

Salty oily and tasty!

Better have some fruits for dessert to balance out all the protein you just wolfed down though. :P

Singapore Trip: Part I

Aeroline PJ - S'pore August 31st 6.30 p.m.
Aeroline S'pore - PJ September 3rd 6.30 p.m.

And there you have it. One thing I like about Aeroline is that I don't have to go down to Puduraya (the grand old bus station) in KL. Instead Aeroline departs from Menara Axis (just a wee bit further down the road from the Asiajaya Putra LRT station) which is so much more convenient for us PJ-ians.

So I walked up to Aeroline's counter at about 5.45 to 6,

And I said to the counter staff "Yo babe ticket mana?"

Checked my tickets, I was finally sure,

That I would be catching the 6.30 bus to S'pore.

Ok, so that was a lame attempt to parody the lyrics from the Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air theme. I loved that series btw.

Waiting for the bus, staring into nothingness.

The tickets and my entertainment for the ride.

Aeroline coach interior.

The coach is actually really comfortable with seats resembling those of an airplane (hence Aeroline's tagline: The convenient way to fly). The meals they served were ok, nothing too special but filling. I was asleep for most of the journey anyway.

Before I knew it, we had cleared Customs and whooossshhhhh, we were in Singapore!

Ok I know you can't see much but yes, this is Singapore!

So the bus stopped at Waterfront Plaza around 11.30-ish p.m. and I quickly took a cab to Nick's place. Singapore is crawling with cabs, so no worries of being stranded anyway. Such efficiency! :P

After everything was unpacked, bak chor mee was highlight of the night. Imagine our local pork noodles, without the soup and pig intestines, but with a savoury sauce consisting of chilli oil and vinegar. Slurpingly delicious.

The story continues in...Part II.

Intermission

So it was the second badminton session at the Bandar Utama community centre. Andrew and I arrived early and we proceeded to exhaust ourselves by kicking a futsal ball around. It was fun.

Anyway seeing that it was already 7.15 p.m. (our court booking begins from 7) we proceeded to the badminton hall to find that there were four cute girls already occupying our court.

I was like "What the?" and one of the girls approached us and asked (nicely) "Did you guys book this court?". So we were like "That's right" "Yeah" and she proceeded to explain that they stayed near the community centre and seeing that no one was occupying the court they just took over.

Well anyway we didn't have enough players (just me, Andrew, Ho) so we just told them to carry on. The court beside us had only two players so we joined them for a couple of games. All was well and good as I got to exercise and watch cute girls playing badminton. What more can a guy ask for man? :รพ

Hopefully they will be back next week eh?

P.S: Ah Hua you missed out on the babes lol!

P.S: Pics will be taken when I go out with them for lunch or dinner or movie and if they give permission. Kthanks!

Singapore Trip: The Prelude.

So I said to myself, enough procrastinating. Let's get it started. So on to the story now...

It was a last minute decision actually to go down to S'pore. It happened like this:

Lawrence: Eh d00d why don't you come down to S'pore during the Merdeka weekend instead of (Hari) Raya?

Me: (checks calendar) Fucking A man, good idea. (rushes to book return tickets from Aeroline).

Me: DONE! S'pore here I come!

Lawrence: Woot!

And thus the journey was initiated. :P

FIRE! FIRE! FIRE DRILL!

Just got back from a fire drill. Yes it was supposed to be a surprise thingy but it was announced that we would have a drill early in the morning...so...meh...no more surprise.

To make matters worse, the office emergency announcement system speakers were not functioning. What was supposed to be "ALERT! ALERT! FIRE! ACTIVATE EMERGENCY PROTOCOLS!" came out instead as "MmmmmmMmAfflyhghhgsskkkkkjkgagfttttggFFGUK!".

So we were all busy doing our work when suddenly the receptionist came in and said "Er, the fire sirens are ringing." Yeah sure they were ringing...outside the office that is. I was the office's designated fire marshal too. And I was busy surfing the Internet. Talk about failure to maintain important emergency equipment man.

I went through the usual motions of evacuating ("leave now or regret forevah!
") my colleagues and making sure no one gets left behind (including checking the toilets; no I don't get to check the ladies!). Then it was a leisurely stroll down six flights of stairs, leisurely because everybody was just taking their own sweet time seeing that everybody knows it's just a drill. If there was a real fire I think we'd be toast(ed) by then.

So me and the receptionist reached our designated assembly point and found that none of our colleagues were there save the Financial Controller and the assistant fire marshal (GM's secretary). Apparently the rest of the staff were taking a nice rest under the shade at Subang Parade because the weather was hot; wouldn't getting burnt in a fire be hotter? I was tempted to put down "Staff strength: 14, Staff rescued: 4" but then that would reflect badly on me so I just did another count. Anyway there was like half of the population of the two office towers lazing in the shade (WTF) so I guess it's just the usual Malaysia Bull-Leh spirit a.k.a it's just a drill.

For the record the assistant fire marshall did sent out e-mails detailing the escape route and the assembly point weeks ago. So it wasn't really a question of nobody knowing what to in the event of the fire drill.

The emergency response team leader got so fucking pissed off at everyone lounging at the shade when they were supposed to be at their respective assembly points that he shouted through his megaphone. And still nobody moved.

After all the hoo-ha, we were allowed to return to our offices. Got to share the lift with the cutie from the office below ours. Woot! Not a waste of time after all. On a sidenote the two office towers certainly contain more cuties than I possibly imagined.

NO PICTURE TAKING ALLOWED DURING THE FIRE DRILL COZ IT'S SUPPOSED TO ALL SERIOUS AND SHIT! KTHANKS!

Slack! Slack! Slacking!

Right, I know. There haven't been any updates to this blog. I'm working on the S'pore trip entries and will probably post them over the weekend. No worries!

Yes this is a filler post.

Updates soon! I promise!
