The Great Singapore Trip. Part 3.

Day 3 (25th Dec - Christmas Day)

Woke up early the next morning and decided to head for Vivo City. Well, early as in 11 a.m. lol!

Breakfast is a must! Slurpingly good Hokkien Mee at a foodcourt near Marine Parade!

The queue to enter Vivo!

View of Sentosa from Vivo. It's so near!

Wanted to eat here but Nick and I totally couldn't locate a place to sit...

After much searching, we found a place at Kopitiam (Vivo has THREE food courts). Check out the huge plate of fried kueh tiao!

Vivo City!!!

Nick threw a smashing Christmas party at his place on the very same night too. Apologies for the the lack of pictures but I was too busy eating...

View from Nick's condo balcony.

The Great Singapore Trip. Part 2.

Day 2 (24th Dec - Christmas Eve)

So yeah, this is the famed Beef Cheese Fries of Carl's Jr. Minced beef! Shredded cheese! Crispy fries! HEART ATTACK URGH!

Criss-cut fries. The healthier alternative?

My artery-clogging double beef burger with bacon slices. You only live once eh?

We then journeyed on to Suntec City.

Pretty Christmas decorations at Suntec City.

Met up with Lawrence later in the evening. After shopping at Funan and Orchard, we decided on dinner at Pepper Lunch. Here Lawrence is shown frying up a nice lamb dish.

And this is my dish! Tasty steak! STEEEAAAKKKKKKK!

Notice the tender underside of the meat. Simply superb!

This is the best view of Orchard's Christmas decorations I could get. Taken from the bus!

We went over to Asteroids at Katong for some quick gaming. We got trashed at DOTA. NOZ!

Having lost our mood for gaming, we decided to turn old school and went over to Settler's Cafe for some card gaming. Ended the night with Jenga!

Onwards to Day 3!

The Great Singapore Sale! I mean...TRIP!

Yeah so I was at Singapore for the Christmas weekend (23rd to 26th December). I promised pics so here they are. Guess I'll let the pictures tell the story eh?

Day 1 (23rd Dec)

The interior of the Eltabina express bus.

This is where we stopped for lunch. A pretty popular food court at Yong Peng, Johor.

It really is popular...

Cloudy skies on the way to Singapore. OH NOES!

They actually issued conflicting seat numbers...this girl is sitting in what is supposed to be my seat...

Across the Causeway to Singapore! Rain rain rain...

Check out the queue at the Customs checkpoint! I'm glad I'm in a bus...

And here I am at Singapore! Jalan Sultan! Woot!

And after that I took a taxi to Nick's place. From there it was on to Golden Mile to collect my bus ticket from Konsortium before heading over to Borders at Wheelock Place, Orchard Road.

I can't believe I spent five hours at Borders! I guess that was the highlight of the day, besides braving the crowds at Orchard Road. More in Day 2!
