The truth is out!

TM Net Sdn Bhd would like to inform its customers that we will be conducting a scheduled maintenance and upgrading exercise at the International link to the United States to improve our service performance. As a result, customers may experience a slower performance especially to its U.S. links from 12:00 noon on 24 March 2005 (Thursday) until 28 March 2005 (Monday).

Oh. So that is what is causing my Streamyx connection to act up. At least TMNET bothered to announce that is was doing upgrading. Now let's hope that they manage to complete the whole exercise on time. Whoop dee doo!

As above. Enough said. Stupid dumbass TMNET who don't know how to manage their own broadband service. Dumb fucks.

Super LATE smashing technique!

FRAGtastic badminton match last night. The highlight of it was getting a near-death-experience due to a pair of overworked lungs during the last match. Could barely even catch my breath as me and Andrew tried vainly to defeat our opponents. Alas, all was in vain as we collapsed in agony (and also defeat). Oh, the opposing team consisted of two girls. And one of them was a HOT BABE! YEAH! I would have gotten TURNED ON if not for the fact that I could barely walk.

Looks like the supposed scorcher of a heatwave assault didn't happen yesterday. In fact it was pretty cooling later towards the evening after a massive thunderstorm was unleashed over PJ. Problem is, the haze is back in force today morning. What the fuck?

The Heatwave Cometh!

Hot. Just plain fucking hot. And I suppose it will get hotter tomorrow. Niarraagaghhhggg!

It was a freaking fragfest last night at Gamesworld. Non-stop gaming action from 7 p.m. right up to 11 p.m. plus. Fucking crazy! One thing I love about Gamesworld is that there is no problem connecting to a game of Dawn of War being hosted by someone else over the Net. Direct Join rocks my socks! LOlOloloeleloleolOll! No lag, just non-stop fragging and cursing. Now that is the life!

Meatballs...BOLLOCKS!

There was this huge ass hue and cry over how some restaurant apparently used non-halal sausage casings. Anyway, this particular restaurant is now closed pending a through investigation. Safe to say, meatball lovers will have to get their kicks somewhere else for the time being.

Oh, I'm sure most Malaysians will know which restaurant I'm referring to. Why did I post this you ask? The fuck I know. Seriously.

Damm...it burns!

So I woke up this morning with a freaking bad stomach ache. It was more like a stomach BURN anyway. While I was busy emptying my bowels, I was thinking what the frag did I eat last night that could have caused me such agony. Then it hit me like a flying monkey punch. It was that bloody MEE GORENG from the restaurant near SJMC. It wasn't supposed to be mee goreng in the first place since I ordered INDOMEE GORENG...shitcock! To add salt to the wound, the drinks were watered down too! Fuck!

At least after the nice little session in the toilet, I was able to get to work.

Screamyx or Streamyx? Let the people of Malaysia decide!

So actually I had prepared this huge ass rant about Streamyx to post here but suddenly Streamyx has magically gotten better since 2 p.m! Woohoo?

When Streamyx chooses to act up, it seriously does. Imagine I couldn't even stream a MONO (that's low bandwidth for ya) channel off Winamp's Shoutcast! So I did the most logical thing to do at that time, I went onto Low Yat forums and posted some rants. Nothing too whiney because the mods at Low Yat do their jobs well (NO SPAMMING RETARDS). After struggling with trying to post more on Low Yat forums (I managed two posts) I gave up and instead stared at the ceiling, hoping to divine some winning lottery numbers.

Then my supplier calls up and he informs me that TMNET (the Creator Gods of Streamyx) have been experiencing problems with their broadband infrastructure since last week and this has affected the entire Malaysian peninsular. I was like...d00d, where's my broadband? After contemplating on the sheer idiocy of it all, I went back to staring at the ceiling.

Suddenly, POOF, magic pixie dust on Streamyx's servers and then SHAZAM, connection was back to it's silky smooth self. Looks like I'll be saving my huge ass rant for the next Streamyx nationwide failure then.

Alrighty now! Time to get cracking! One thing I should be ranting about is the weather! It's bloody fucking hot outside! And I'm sure most Malaysians would have gotten that e-mail about how the temperature on 21st March would reach 40 degrees celcius. Now is that hot or what? Stock up on cold water and ice cream because the big bad heatwave is going to come and toast us all!

Disclaimer: If you were to believe that Malaysia is going to be burnt into oblivion due to the upcoming heatwave, I suggest you take a break off the Internet. Yes. Seriously.

Disclaimer 2: The heatwave is perfectly normal...to quote a learned spokesperson of our Meteorological Department:

So don't worry. It's not the end of the world although there are plenty of people wishing for it.

Fucking hell! Is it really true? Have I really stepped into the huge cesspit of online blogging? OMFG! Yes it bloody well fucking is! I figured that at the very least, this would be a nice avenue to vent my angst (ccCCcccccrrraawwwllinnngg IinNnNnNnn mmYyYYy skIinNnnn, this STD IT will not heal!!!). Not like I have STDs anyway, but what the fuck eh? EH? And so concludes another momentous post! Indeed it is!
